Hello friends of ONEchapel,

We’re more than halfway through our 21-day prayer and fasting time and it has been wonderful. Prayer is going on every day at 6:30am and noon at the Office, and I can’t wait to hear more stories of how God is moving in you. Here’s what’s goin’ on:

TAG STUDENT MINISTRIES
What a fantastic kick-off for TAG High School students last night! Pastor Brent shared his story and vision for where we’re headed. Be sure to encourage your students to participate every Wednesday night at 7pm at the ONEchapel Offices.

Remember, JV TAG is starting this Sunday night (1/23) at 5pm at the Camden Stoneleigh Apartment Club House (4825 Davis Lane, Austin, TX 78749) for all Jr. High School students. Get your student connected and encouraged by making sure they’re there!

WATER BAPTISM
For all of you who have made a new commitment to Christ over the last several months, we will be having a water baptism service on Sunday, January 30th at 3:00pm. Since we don’t have a baptismal (yet), our friends at HOPE IN THE CITY church, right here in Southwest Austin, have graciously offered to let us use theirs (4407 Monterey Oaks Blvd.
Bldg 1, Suite 120
Austin, Texas 78749). If you’re being baptized, come to the church early at 2:00pm for instruction and preparation.

Bring your family and friends for an awesome time of experiencing people saying goodbye to their old way of life and embracing their new life in Christ. It will be a wonderful celebration!

SPEAKING OF CELEBRATING…ONEchapel NIGHT OF WORSHIP
Join us later that same night (1/30) for an unforgettable evening as we gather back in the AMC Theater at 5:30pm for an extended time of worship, prayer, vision and sharing together. There is such value in coming together and spending time honoring God, praying for our city, loving one another and receiving direction. There will be no childcare for this service but we want to encourage you to bring your kids—this is designed to be a family night where we are celebrating and soaking in God’s presence. These kinds of events shape the culture of our church; so don’t miss it!

LADIES NIGHT!
My beautiful wife, Aimee Parsley invites you to the next ONEchapel Ladies Night, Friday, January 28th, at 7:00pm at the ONEchapel Offices (3800 Ben Garza Ln. Austin, TX 78749). Spend time getting to know other women, worshiping together, and hearing from two amazing ladies who are changing the lives of the women here in our city. The theme for the evening is WOMEN HELPING WOMEN, so come ready to both give and receive. Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without some terrific food! So, please bring your favorite snack food (salty or sweet) to share with everyone. We will provide the drinks and paper goods. Come expecting to meet some great ladies!

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GROUP
We’re starting several new Connect Groups in the next few weeks and one of them is our YOUNG PROFESSIONALS CONNECT GROUP led by Larry and Suzanne Foster and Bob and Michelle Marshall. They’ll be meeting at Bob and Michelle’s house (6005 Kelsing Cove, Austin, TX 78735). This will be a great Connect Group for equipping and encouraging young (and young at heart) professionals in the pursuit of excellence in their careers, relationships, ministry and life.
