Firefighters have gotten a handle on the wildfires in our area, but there is still much work to be done. Now is the time when we can jump in as a church and serve people well. There are so many in need with over 1700 homes destroyed and families struggling to get their lives back.
We are partnering with the Austin Disaster Relief Network to provide volunteers. If we can be prepared and ready, there is so much Jesus wants to do with us to help people in their moment of crisis. The next general volunteer training for ADRN is coming up on Tuesday, Sept. 20th. 6:30-9:30pm. This training is free.

ADRN will be posting several new volunteer opportunities through December 2011 to help rebuild homes in Oak Hill, Bastrop, Pflugerville, Leander and Steiner Ranch. Over the next 3-4 months, they will need hundreds of volunteers and church groups to help.
